Over the course of the past weekend our church was a stop for the RIDE:WELL BIKE TOUR. This is a group of 19 college-age men and women who are bike riding from San Diego to Baltimore in two months to raise money to build wells in Africa. During this stop of their tour our church raised $30,400, which will cover the cost of almost 10 wells.
Vince and I were asked to be a host family for two of the riders and we gladly took them into our home. I was relieved to find out they were not picky eaters and they seemed to enjoy the meals we prepared.
I hope they left feeling rested and ready to go on to the next leg of their tour.
