One of the most memorable parts of our trip to Minnesota was that Deklan went on his first boat ride. We knew it would be windy, so we tried to get him to wear some sunglasses that my Mother-in-law had, but they didn't last long.
Even with the wind in his eyes, Deklan still loved being on the boat.
We celebrated the 4th of July by watching fireworks on the lawn of a golf course at a nearby resort. We had been very busy that day and Grafton fell asleep halfway during the display. However, he throughly enjoyed the fireworks that he saw!
The weather was perfect during our visit and we took advantage of it by eating outside.
