I've been a lousy picture taker recently, which is one of the main reasons for my lack of blogging lately.
Last night I looked through my camera and realized there's a hodge-podge of pictures from the last couple of weeks.

Grafton found some of Vince's hats piled together on our bathroom counter, so he gave one to each of us and then grabbed my camera.... I think Vince did a nice job getting this family portrait!
I've taken the kids to the library at least once a week over the past few weeks. Two weeks ago we met with my friend who has two boys too and last week we attended Story Time at the library with my sister Rachel and her son Drew.
The biggest event for me over the last few weeks was attending my church's Women's Getaway. I was asked to be the speaker for our Friday morning session, and when I went in the green room early that morning to look over my notes and pray, the room was filled with delicious smelling candles, a fruit plate, and this gift. The retreat was amazing and my message went over even better than I had hoped. Sadly, this is the only picture I took the entire weekend!
Yesterday was my nephew Drew's 4th Birthday. I usually try to make a big breakfast every Monday morning because it's Vince's day off, so we invited Drew to come over and I made him his favorite, chocolate-chip pancakes and bacon.
The same evening we celebrated our brother-in-law, Ron's birthday! We had dinner at Famous Dave's and then got some frozen yogurt for dessert.
