It had been a goal of mine to reorganize our pantry before Deklan was born. That never happened, but I knew it was necessary when my niece went in there and told me it was "Kind of small and kind of messy". The last time I had went through it and completely cleaned & organized was in December of 2006!
As much as I was embarrassed and frustrated by our pantry, I could never seem to find the time & motivation to get in there. Especially since this could only be done productively when BOTH kids were sleeping.
Today the boys were napping at the same time, so I finally decided to take on this dreaded project. After filling 3 large garbage bags and 2 1/2 hours of work, it was finally done!

Now when I walk in there I just say, "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
This was so funny- I organized my pantry the very same day!! I know just how you feel.
