He's Here!

On Tuesday morning at 2:45 AM my phone rang. On the other end was my sister Rachel informing me that the time had finally come for Jaxon to be born!

I quickly got ready and headed to the hospital where she was dilated to 5 and being admitted into the labor & delivery room.

Tony & Rachel were very kind to share this experience by having my mom, sister Hannah, Tony's mom, his sister and myself in the delivery room with them.

A little after 6 AM it was time to push! You can tell Rachel had gotten the epidural because she was all smiles before delivering him.

At 6:25 AM Jaxon Alexander was born, weighing 7 pounds 9 ounces and 20 inches long.

A few minute after his birth he was already smiling!

She's in love!

My Mom is one proud grandma!

This almost gave me the baby bug.

Yesterday I took the boys over to Rachel's to bring them dinner and Grafton and Deklan met their new cousin for the first time. Grafton insisted on bringing his favorite blanket to cover him with.... This was a pretty big deal because Grafton is very attached to it and usually does not want to share. He's a great cousin already. :)
