Happy (Belated) New Year!

I have had every intention of getting on here over these last three weeks and sharing pictures and stories from our recent vacation. The problem is that Vince took way better pictures than I did and I haven't taken the time to get them on my computer.... Hopefully I will get to that this week!

We spent New Year's Eve at a friends house and got home sometime after 11:30. Our plan was to quickly get the kids in bed and bring in the New Year watching the ball drop in Times Square. Unfortunately, time went by a little too fast while I was putting Grafton in bed and I missed ringing in the New Year with Vince by about 30 seconds. :(

It's hard to believe that New Year's Eve marked 7 years since our engagement. In a way it seems like a lifetime ago, but overall it's gone by rather quickly.

We made only one resolution this year..... to spend more quality time together than we did last year. It seems last year we were both busy doing separate things and a lot our time "together" consisted of us being on our separate laptops or watching TV together while I folded laundry. We also only went on two dates all year! The first for our anniversary and second for Vince's birthday.

So far, so good with our resolution! We have made it a point to get the boys in bed early and Vince has been helping me get the house picked up so we can spend our evening together without giving our attention to so many other things.

I think 2011 is going to be a great year!
