Thanksgiving is by far my favorite holiday. I love it because it's not as commercialized or as stressful as Christmas (although I do love Christmas too). It's also the biggest holiday for my side of the family.Yesterday my grandmother and I met to plan the menu and assign each family the food they will be bringing. This year I volunteered to make an Apple Gorgonzola Salad as well as two Peanut Butter Pies. I'll also bring and apple and pecan pie, but those will be store bought.
After we got home from Thanksgiving planning I was still feeling the nostalgia of the holiday, so I put on "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" for the boys and myself to watch while I made pumpkin chocolate chip bread.
Now I just wish the weather would cooperate. I think we should be wearing sweaters by now!
