Deklan is now at the age (8 1/2 months) where he's hitting some developmental milestones rather quickly. Over the course of the last week he's started to army crawl, wave, say "mama" clearly, and his first tooth broke through! I am definitely proud of him, but it also makes me kind of sad because these are all signs he won't be a baby for too much longer.
I think one of the most profound statements that someone told me regarding motherhood is, "The days are long but the years are short." That's exactly how I feel! Raising two small boys is rather exhausting, but the time is also going by too quickly. I am really trying to cherish every moment of it!
